New World Chardonnay, done well. Toasty, mealy aromas accent slightly tropical, peach-like scents on the nose, while the flavors are ripe and fruit-driven, suitably framed by butter and toast. It’s a medium- to full-bodied wine, its long finish tinged with hints of butter and tropical fruit.

The 2004 vintage wasn’t an easy one for Nelson Pinot Noir, and this wine reflects that. The aromas are slightly earthy and herbal, marked by tomato and beet elements, while the flavors are herbal to the point of mintiness but also fresh and appealing. Ultimately, it’s an attractive effort destined for short-term drinking.

Lime, white flowers and a strong hint of minerals and petrol announce that, yes, it's definitely Riesling. The palate is stony-smooth, and distinct lemon -lime flavors shoot through the wine from start to end. Acidity is moderate and there's no spritz at all. Pronounced "Grennock."

More indistinct than extreme, the tangy citrus and herb aromas and flavors need more weight and definition to stand up to the bracing acidity. Finishes tart and more vegetal than it reads on the nose and palate.
