Wonderful nose of cassis and ripe aromatic fruit, sweet and spicy, smoky, complex aromas with lots of depth; deep and layered in the mouth, the wine has real depth; flavors of cassis and black cherries mix with earth and woody spices; mouthcoating but also filled with balanced acidity and dense but restrained tannins; long finish, this wine still has years to go before it is going to be fully ready.
