A super solid super Tuscan that mostly blends Merlot and Colorino with nice results. Berry marmalade with hints of marzipan, cinnamon and vanilla work the nose, backed by tangy but serious red fruit. This is a very drinkable wine that’s ready to go today.

This gorgeous wine opens with unmistakable sophistication and thickly concentrated notes of black fruit, leather, spicy tobacco, beef jerky and long-lasting spice. It’s a very well-executed wine with softer shades of vanilla and almond paste and a smooth, long-lasting finish. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

Gingerbread and cinnamon snaps come to mind and open the way for more complex aromas of black fruit, dried herbs, black stone, mesquite and root beer. The wine is soft and smooth with a bitter, fresh close.

It’s amazing how much this wine smells like peppermint. A blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah, this is a distinctive wine that offers playful aromas of clove, cardamom, chocolate and rhubarb behind a solid wall of spearmint. It has tight tannins, a solid structure and fresh acidity.

To the nose it’s simultaneously soft and sweet while also smoky, leathery and earthy. This one gives a little of this and that; the fruit is medium and bright, with full supporting tannins. But it also pours on the red fruit in doses, meaning it’s snappy and sharp.

Ocra is a luscious and opulent blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah (aged 12 months in barrique) that shows loads of cherry, blackberry and plum nuances. You’ll also feel soft spice, leather and tobacco folded within the rich, creamy texture.

Here is a pretty Tuscan blend with aromas of black fruit, spice, capers and black olive. The wine is firm and fresh but it also has a very high level of concentration and density that is fueled by smoke and mineral flavors. The year 994 represents the founding date of this estate.

A high-priced wine that seems to have never found its prime. It’s heavily oaked, which is as apparent as the char, coffee and lemon on the nose. The palate is monstrously tart, with pie cherry and red raspberry. And it’s tannic. Not flawed; just not very pleasant for what it costs.

Although the nose is slightly muddled in places because of the ripe fruit aromas, it does offer very good color, density and concentration. The mouthfeel is simple and lean with a touch of crispness on the close.
