Thanks to the vintage, this is showing more fat than usual, yet still retains a gorgeous sense of balance. Orange and mineral flavors dance on the palate, accompanied by hints of apple, pineapple and lime. From a biodynamic producer, with no added yeasts, no chaptalization and no wood aging. Tasted at a closed stage in its evolution, the fruit was very much quiescent, showing merely hints of peach and citrus. More mineral than the richer 2003, with a long, mineral-and-grapefruit finish. Drink 2008–2015, maybe longer. A 1986 tasted at the domaine late in 2004 was still delicious (90 points). Imported by Kysela Père et Fils.
