Soft and sweet nose with lots of black cherry aromas, alcohol, earth, tightly focused nose; sweet and ripe in the mouth, lots of black cherry flavors; big acidity, but very focused; the wine seems very tight and actually not ready yet, if that is possible. (19/20)

Very sweet and soft nose, oriental spice, quince, truffle, touch of mint and earth, complex nose; sweet and ripe in the front of the mouth with lots of black cherry fruit on the palate; the middle of the wine exhibits a lot of acidity that grows stronger as the wine sits in the glass; there is a slight tendency to gain a more wooden character at the end that reduces the wine’s appeal somewhat; still well-focused and well-made with a nice long finish with a spicy ending. (17.5/20) Another bottle at the Cros Parantoux tasting dinner was similar, but did not have as much fruit and was, as a result, harder and more wooden in its flavors, but generally not too dissimilar.

Sweet nose with earthen and truffle-laced aromas, lots of ripe fruit, very focused; sweet and tightly managed on the palate with well-balanced and cleanly defined flavors of black cherries and plums; very focused and bordering on intense; long, sophisticated finish with a nice touch of licorice and smoke. Very perfumed and aromatic nose, lots of sweet fruit, black cherry, earthen and rich; silky and sweet in the mouth, smooth, rich and ripe textures; particularly soft and enticing with black cherry and plums flavors; very fresh and focused with a long finish, this is sophisticated wine. (19/20)
