This new Cabernet Sauvignon from Trefethen starts with plenty of fancy, toasted oak (high char to judge from the caramelized note) and ripe blackberry aromas. It turns complex, softly tannic and berry-fruity in the mouth. This wine defines style. Drinkable now, but should age classically.
