There are some tough, astringent tannins in this wine that make it harsh on the palate and bitter on the finish. The actual flavors are of cola, raisins and black currants. Doesn’t seem like an ager.

Despite low alcohol this Riesling is completely dry. Crisp Monterey acidity stars, providing a framework for the petrol, citrus and honeysuckle flavors. It’s a nice, complex sipper to drink as an alternative to Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio.
