Our tasters had varying impressions of this wine’s quality, but all agreed it tasted somewhat awkward at present—the cherry-berry fruit vying with horsey, leathery components. It’s big, burly and tannic, but while some reviewers felt it had the stuffing to develop positively, others felt the fruit would dry up long before the tannins softened.
