Not sure why a Mendoza Malbec is named Havana Rose, but that’s not really important when you taste this ripe, candied wine that shows reasonable balance and character. The palate offers bright, candied raspberry and sweet plum flavors, and the finish is warm and full. About all you can ask for in a $9 wine.
