This Rhône blend (Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache) from Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley has sylvan aromas on top of a base of plum and raspberry jam. It’s full bodied, with a bit of grip to the palate and some prune character showing through on the medium finish.

A blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, this salmon-colored rosé from Lebanon is dominated both on the nose and palate by a green, herbaceous oak character. It’s a dry, medium-bodied wine with faint and dusty strawberry and raspberry flavors in the backdrop, but overall, a disjointed, clumsy sip.

There’s an initial struck match note that floats away to reveal nice mixed berry and char notes, propped up by a sinewy tannins. Full bodied and rich, with a final note of plum jam. Try with barbecue. Drink now.

Bright and lemony on the nose with freshly cut grass and a hint of melon rind, this dry white wine is a blend of Chardonnay, Ugni Blanc and Muscat. It’s not very complex, but fresh apples and pear flavors and a nice, luscious mouthfeel makes this Lebanese wine a quaffable choice.
