This is the type of wine we sometimes refer to as “bug juice.” It’s sweet, reduced, clumsy and hard, with pasty, candied flavors that don’t resemble any particular red, berry or tree fruit. Generic and not convincing.

Rubbery and gaseous, and frankly it’s just not very fresh or inviting. The mouthfeel suggests astringency, while the flavors are salty and earthy but not very fruity. Finishes with a leathery feel and tannic grab.
