This particular wine possessed great dark fruit in the nose with some black peppercorn. The complexity of the flavor was exhibited by currant, strawberries, cherries, cinnamon and oak. It had a nice, full-bodied feel with good acidity, firm tannins, and a lingering after-taste that persisted for well over a minute. Give this wine a good hour, or aerate in one of those $40 aerators and then give it another 20-30 minutes. This pairs well with steak and other hardy meats. 90 points by Wine Spectator. Highly recommended for quality and price; $14

Sweet, balanced acidity, flavors of orange peel, honeyed lemon, and apricot. Good with dessert or cheese.

At $10 a bottle this is one of the best Gewurtztraminers that I have tasted and I have been on a tasting panel that looked at traminette which is similiar to Gewurtztraminer. It is not as spicy as some Gewurtztraminers, but makes up for this flaw with a wonderful floral bouquet and smooth crisp taste. Pairs well with baked chicken or pork chops.

At $10 a bottle, this is a very great wine. It is very sweet and has just a slight acidity. Some floral notes and sweet fruit like strawberries and ripe raspberries come to mind when drinking this wine.
