Karl Holzapfel is rapidly moving up the ranks of top Wachau producers, as a wine this ripe and creamy retains the freshness of 2007, but gives weight, depth of flavor, layers of pear and spice and a tight, slate structure. A powerful wine, but one that also retains a lively character. Screwcap.

Crisp, fresh, but concentrated Grüner. From one of the Wachau’s best vineyards, it comes complete with a vivid citrus character, livened by acidity and a fine apple skin structure. Screwcap.

A smooth, soft, creamy wine, revolving around ripe fruit, limes and an enticing spice character. The wine is full in the mouth, keeping a sense of structure, but using that as a framework for concentrated fruit. Not for aging, but already delicious to drink. Screwcap.
