Operating as a charity, the Hospices de Saumur owns vineyards that have been donated over the years. This Saumur Champigny has intense medicinal aromas, followed by some firm, dry tannins. It shows fresh berry fruits, but also weight from concentrated mint and black plum skin structure. The finish is dry and firm.
