An eye-opener from Sherry country, this blend from Cadíz is broad, big and totally convincing as top-shelf red wine. The nose is full of forceful but high-quality new oak, while early aromas of shoe polish and road tar fade nicely toward tobacco, blackberry and plum. With good mouthfeel, controlled tannic bite and richness, it has plenty going for it. Drink now and over the next five years.
