Blends wood-derived elements of caramel, toast and spice with blackberry and plum fruit in a well-balanced, medium-weight format. Bright acidity accents the cranberryish flavors before dry woody tannins take over on the finish. Short-term cellaring (six to nine months or so) should help smooth the rough edges.
