Likeable for its pineapple custard, vanilla and buttered popcorn flavors, and the creamy texture. Not especially complex, but a very nice Chardonnay for everyday, especially at this price.

Here’s a useful red at an everyday price. It’s dry and fruity, with cherry-berry and spice flavors, and the finish is a little sweet.

Sommeliers should know about this blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. It’s an eminently drinkable wine, dry and tart in acidity, with flavors of citrus fruits, peaches, lemongrass and vanilla. Great price for a tremendously versatile white wine.

A sound, everyday Merlot. It has ripe blackberry, cherry, currant and cola flavors, and feels smooth and rich in the mouth. Great job at this price.

A bit raw and minty, but not a bad everyday Cab for this price. It’s dry and clean, with modest cherry-berry flavors.
