Sweet, dark and ripe, with prune on the nose along with smoke and tar. With a smooth body and easy tannins, this is a ready Syrah-led blend with blackberry, pepper, licorice and chocolate notes but also a slash of obvious but nicely applied oak. Drink now through 2010.
