Very refined and smooth in the mouth, with an ultra-creamy texture that carries subtle flavors of lemongrass, vanilla and yeast. Very dry, with crisp acids. This is a bubbly that feels rich and elegant all the way down.

Delicate aromas of lime, hazelnut and dough. Drinks smooth and fine, with delicate citrus flavors and a clean, slightly bitter finish that has traces of raspberry. Very light and airy, it’s an elegant style. Almost equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with 3.4% Pinot Meunier.

A fine wine that shows the classic structure of Russian River Chardonnay, and also a steely minerality that makes it a partner for food. That doesn’t mean it’s without fruit. The flavors of apricots, pears and more exotic tropical fruits are explosive, enhanced with smoky oak. Likely to develop bottle complexity over the next four years.

Sturdy and hard in tannins, brisk in acids, this Pinot will benefit from a year or so in bottle. It’s extremely dry, with earthy, balsam and mushroom-inspired flavors of blackberries, black cherries and cola.

The 2005 Nicole’s was an opulent wine. The 2006 is not. Instead, it’s a structured one that could improve in the next 2 or 3 years. Currently it shows a tannic, acidic dryness, but there are rich flavors of cherries, tangerines, currants and root beer, with an Asian spice finish.

Jammy in blackberry, raspberry and mulberry flavors, this Pinot has more exotic notes of sautéed wild mushrooms sprinkled with soy sauce, anisette, pine tar and pepper. But its dominating qualities are dryness, acidity and tannins. Feels too young and unresolved for pleasure now. Give it a few years.

Here’s a delicious brut. Dry and fruity, it has forward flavors of Key limes, pineapple zest, brioche, vanilla and spices. The bubbles are a bit scoury. Easy to find, with 22,800 cases produced.

An excellent Viognier. The tropical fruit, wildflower and spicy flavors are strong and ripe, but they’re balanced by bright acids and even some dusty tannins. That makes the wine full-bodied and complex. It’s delicious on its own, but will be excellent with pork tenderloin.

A blend from throughout the valley, this is a lighter-style wine made in a delicious, accessible manner. It offers flavors of raspberries, strawberries, spices, smoke and vanilla, and is silky on the palate. Finishes with a graceful elegance.
