This curiousity is a Rhîone Valley wine made from Muscat grapes, not too dissimilar from Moscato d'Asti, but fully sparkling. As a result, it has flowery, tropical fruit aromas and flavors, and a touch of sweetness on a relatively light-bodied frame.

This wine shows a richer, smoother mouthfeel than others of its ilk. The nose is nicely toasty, with tropical fruit aromas and mint. Flavors are similar, dealing out nicely oaked fruit that goes down easily.

Not too dissimilar from an Italian Moscato d’Asti, this offers exotic scents of oranges and tropical fruit. It’s a bit sweet, but balanced in part by the bubbles. This would be great at brunch, or served on its own.

A hint of sulfur blows off to reveal muted cookie and chalk, but the palate opens up with lemon-lime flavors and a smokey edge. Crisp and steely in the mouth, it hints at roundness and sweetness without taking the plunge.
