Shows yeasty, earthy, dusty aromas, with just a slight trace of fruit. There are also mild fruity flavors. It’s slightly sweet as a semi-seco should be, but has adequate acidity and decent length finishing with some richness.

A simple and slightly sweet sparkler, although it’s labeled seco, or dry. Vegetable-herb notes on the nose open to sweet and earthy flavors. The bead is large and the mouthfeel very soft. Useful for a toast with your older aunties—who tend to like ’em sweet—and fine for mimosas with brunch.

The nose could use more freshness, while the palate features dilute apple flavors and sharp acidity, despite the fact that it was fermented in barrels. Some dryness and buttered toast define the finish.
