Very rich, but the wine also has a good steely edge to it, a texture of fruit skins to go with the ripest apricot flavors. It rolls satisfyingly around the mouth, a concentrated burst of fruit that, as with the steeliness, ends with crisp acidity. Imported by Boisset America.

Solid, firm wine that brings its tannins to bear on the rich plum juice and black berry fruits. The tannins act as an important element here, giving concentration, tightening the fresh fruit, and underpinning the final bright acidity. Age for 4–5 years.
