Perhaps summer Syrah. Pepper notes -but welcomed jamminess/vegetal character from the Grenache. A tasty Phelps wine- would definitely buy again.

A bangin' red. Glorious length, well-rounded mouth and a wonderful finish. My kind of wine, with softening, but still-lively, tannins. Red raspberries, red currants, a bit of olive wood, cedar box and tobacco. Drank from magnum.
