With the R62 standing for the famous Route 62 in South Africa, this is a beautiful unfiltered Syrah that’s naturally fermented and matured 16 months in Burgundian oak. Sweet spice, cocoa nibs, raspberry and balsamic-drizzled strawberries abound, with fine-grained tannins leading masterfully into the cocoa-dusted finish. Complex, balanced and delicious now, but can be cellared for two to three years.
