This is one of the fruitiest of the various Beaujolais that I have tried this year, opens with a sweet and aromatic nose of cherry juice, cane sugar, and hints of earth; pretty much the same in the mouth, very much a fruit bomb, cherry juice, sweet and a bit simple; the Gamay comes through but this wine, while fun and refreshing, is not going to rise much above the stereotypes of the floral juice that many associate with this region.
