Huge nose, intense concentration here with a deep and brooding character, a touch barnyardy but in a pleasant way, lots of concentrated black cherry and other black fruit aromas, truffles, very complex; huge first taste, loaded with black cherries and tar, but at the same time the wine is complex and refined; peppery on the palate with a sophisticated set of flavors that focus the taste buds instantly; long complex finish with powerful flavors; beautifully made and well-integrated.
