Powerful nose with classic ripe, sweet fruit, chocolate, leather, smoked meat nose; very sweet and powerful in the mouth; this is an aggressive Syrah with a somewhat bitter finish at this early stage; the tannins are still pretty assertive and need more time; lots of acidity, taste of bedrock here as well; good for the genre, but needs more time.
