Fresh and fruity and a touch candied, the nose on this Chard is less elegant than the flavors to follow. Creamy, integrated toast and fruit has a richer character and the finish lingers. A good overall wine with food, with pairing potential and class.

There’s a suppleness to the way oak envelops the ripe, plummy aromas on this Finger Lakes Merlot. The palate is dry, but ripe and lush with an intensely concentrated dose of fruit. Low in acidity and tannins, it’s a bit plush, but makes for easy sipping with food or on its own.
