Beautiful straw color and overwhelmingly appealing aromas of poached pears, pineapple and canned peaches. An absolutely heavenly wine on the palate with subtle acidity but a creamy flavor that coats the mouth and is so easy to drink. You can almost hear the cherubs singing and playing music with each sip. Great to pair with spicy Asian food or as a dessert...maybe even poured over some vanilla ice cream.

Interesting last comment about the ice cream. A
while back we suggested using Sauternes as a syrup
substitute on pancakes or french toast.

Deep bright 18k yellow with aromas of cooked pineapple and toasted nuts. On the palate, the silky texture delivers flavors of green apple, chestnuts and butter. The finish is lingering, but kind of funky...a great 'fall' wine that would pair lovely with butternut squash soup toped with a sauteed melody of caramelized onions, crushed walnuts and green apple.
