Deep, earthy nose with loads of sweet fruit and lots of licorice, ripe plums and black cherries; very sweet and dense, not much complexity here; obviously young, but not too much promise for the future; coarse and quite one-dimensional; finish borders on overripe and the sweetness becomes cloying without some acidity or better balance to round it out; good effort, but coarse and simple; might work with hard cheeses.
