Fresh green herbs, Sweet Tarts and dried spices play on the nose, while more spice, tree bark and earthy flavors round out the palate. Only after a few minutes does soft red fruit peek out. Medium-weight with a tangy oak finish, this Merlot only wants a little more fruit.
