Here’s a soft, plushly textured Merlot, with polished cherry, blackberry and toast flavors and a dry finish. It’s a pleasant sipper, and will benefit from decanting before serving to let it breathe and develop.

Smells too green and minty, and tastes too sweet, to merit a higher score. If you're not fussy, there are enough cherry-berry flavors to get by.
