Expert NoteDecember 19, 2005
Good nose of minerals and fruit, lots of lemon peel and white pepper aromas, lightly tinged with honey; sweet and round in the front of the mouth, then blending in more lemony acidity and dry textures; the wine has medium weight, and could use more depth of flavor; there is nothing radically lacking, but there is nothing compelling either. Light nose, there is a touch of sweet fruit and honey here, but also acidic and oxidized with some pretty obvious decay; surprisingly smooth and sweet in the mouth, still has some fruit left that enlivens the palate; but the finish drops off like a rock, and the wine seems to have nothing left at the end.
