Right away you are taken by the nose of barrel spice, cinnamon, cola and black fruit. The palate is chunky and meaty, with earthy flavors of raisin, tea, fine herbs and leather. One could argue that it finishes sort of tired, but before you get there everything is stocky, thick and very good.
