Smooth and inviting up front, with bright cherry and cranberry flavors. This wine pops in the mouth as it borders on being peppy and electric. On the back end it’s lightly wooded, and that oak yields a soft taste of milk chocolate. This is a fine example of the easy-to-drink wines coming out of southern France. —M.S.

Minty tasting wine, missing out on fruitiness. It has a light texture, feeling hollow.
