Fragrant and fruity, with hints of peaches and melon. Floral qualities round things out. On the finish, it packs a bright, refreshing, citrus note. Fun to drink.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Despite being clean and well made, there’s not a lot of excitement in this earthy wine. It is dominated by acids, some dusty tannins and flavors of citrus and dried herbs. The finish is dry and tart. On its own, doesn’t offer a lot of immediate pleasure, although goat cheese and similar fare will show it off.

A somewhat subdued style that nonetheless serves up plenty of body and finesse. The flavors lean toward blackberry, currant, tar and anise. Toasty oak frames the ensemble, which finishes with moderate length.

Very nicely composed with toasty oak over apple/pear fruit and crème brûlée aromas. It has a full but not heavy mouthfeel, with rich apple and butterscotch flavors. The finish is tangy and toasty, with good length.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Dark and richly scented, this youthful wine burst with black rasberry and blueberry aromas, mocha coffee with a dash of cinnamon. Drinks supple, round and ripely fruity, with succulent flavors that last through the spicy, finely tannic finish.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Mainly Merlot, this Bordeaux blend is enormously rich in sweet cassis, cherry and cedar. It’s assertive in that way, yet possesses an elegant architecture composed of rich, dusty tannins and crisp acids. Should hold well for at least five years.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
With a little Viognier to push the fruit up, and made with the Musqué clone, this wine showcases DCV’s well-earned reputation for Sauvignon Blanc. Dry, stylish and balanced, it offers flavors of citrus, fig, melon and cured tobacco.
