The palest of rosés inside the pinkest of bottles. It is deliciously dry, packed with tight acidity, only hinting at red fruits, a wine that shows crispness, freshness, but also a good weight of ripe citrus and red currant fruits.

This has a pleasing, pale cherry-fruit core; it�s tart and tangy, but not much complexity beyond that. Full in the middle, with lasting flavors that smooth into vanilla and very light spice.

An intense, full-bodied style, which balances the Pinots and Chardonnay well. It is ripe, with toasty undercurrents, balanced by a delicious citrus and grapefruit crispness and a fine, long lingering aftertaste. There is a light, but discernible sweetness to finish, although it is certainly Brut.

The very pale copper color is a bit deceiving, because the cherry flavors are vivid and fresh, combining elegantly with herb and pastry-crust nuances. Finishes strong, echoing with pie cherries and slightly bitter herbs.

Its bouquet manages to be both fresh and mature at once, with caramel, matchstick and water-cracker flavors in full force (there's a little herb here, too). Medium-weight with good acidity, the palate offers a sexy blend of caramel, toast, citrus and mealy-yeasty notes. Finishing long and tangy, this is a handsome, classy Champagne that, as one panelist said, "actually has something going on."
