Surprisingly light nose and reluctant at first to come out on stage, but then began to perform with minerals and honeyed fruit at first, moving to more complex and deep aromas with a strongly perfumed and floral character with subtle lime-tinged herbs and minerals; at first, the flavors were defined by the presence of sweet and ripe fruit that has a slightly floral character; but this moves on to the more traditional lemon and lime flavors that have much more defined edges; the finish is minerally and showing lots of spicy, citrus fruit; no real evidence of age in this bottle; served at a Christie’s pre-auction dinner.
