Complex, somewhat hard nose loaded with minerals, green herbs, stone, smoke, white pepper, with a touch of sweetness with honeyed fruit and lemons; sweet and light in the front of the mouth, but quickly showing a somewhat hard and tight lemon acidity; lean and quite closed; lemony and steely finish; this wine needs to open up more to show some fat and sweetness, which I suspect is lurking in the body as there is depth here, just not yet evident. (17 now but should go higher)
