90-92 Barrel sample. From a vineyard right on the edge of the city of Saint-Emilion, this is a rounded wine, packed with ripe and generous fruit, black cherries and velvet tannins. The finish is very juicy.

89—91 Barrel sample. A single vineyard wine, from a small parcel right by the city of St-Emilion. This has blackberries, layers of bitter chocolate and dried currants. The fruit aftertaste is sweet.

Le Carré is a 3.5-acre vineyard close to the town of Saint-Emilion, producing a highly perfumed wine showing exciting Cabernet Franc character. The texture is dark and dense, although the sweetness of the fruit is very evident. Fleshy and ripe.

From a small, single-vineyard plot of 3.5 acres, this shows intense fruit, very aromatic in character. Its concentration is immense, dark black fruits vying with spice, tar and sweet plum pudding flavors. The Cabernet Franc shows through well here, giving a perfumed finish.
