With its densely fruited nose, chocolate and tar-rubber accents, this fairly rustic red has appeal, if not finesse. Flavors are very much in the same range; the mouthfeel is round with just a touch of acidity showing, and the finish displays some nice sweet-and-sour fruit. A good country wine for easy drinking.
