The herbal notes of fennel seed and licorice almost dominate the bouquet, but lifting aromas of black berry, currant and plum skin fight to flesh things out. The satin-textured mouth with dusty tannins shows stronger and riper fruit flavors of raspberry sauce and fresh fig. Drink now.

A delicate but complex nose of peony, bergamot, Anjou pear and hard melon transition to a somewhat surprisingly lean mouth flooded with citrus flavors. The nuances of the bouquet are mostly missing on the palate, but this remains a clean and refreshing white.

A solid wine all around with aromas of bubblegum, strawberry hard candy, cotton candy and small red berries. Hints of very ripe pineapple and cherry shine on the palate, lifting the somewhat sweeter notes offered on the nose. Light- weight in the mouth followed by a medium-length finish.

A readily available Corbières that offers ample black cherry and boysenberry juiciness supported by notes of earth and spice. The mouth is as ripe and juicy as the nose promises, with moderate weight and tannins. The finish falls a bit short and is a touch confected.
