Three bottles at the restaurant (Brasserie Jo, Chicago) and what a world of difference. The first, rated here was quite delicious, with a floral and black cherry nose. Pleasant and complex tastes with medium long finish. It was good immediately out of the bottle and improved in the short time before we went on to the second bottle...which was corked. The third was pleasant enough, but did not compare to the first and I would only give it 89 points. As was explained to us when we were at the vineyard in May, Fiefs gets the same attention as it's daddy, it just comes from younger vines. That's what makes it accessible sooner. Some of the vines are as old as 25 years, so that helps the level of sophistication of Fiefs.
