André Iché, who owns one of the best-known Minervois estates, Château d’Oupia, has expanded his family’s production with this bottling of Carignan, Syrah and Grenache. It’s a chunky, satisfying wine brimming with berries, spice and a hint of chocolate. No, it’s not especially complex or long, but it’s forward and delicious—everything you’d want in a hamburger red.
