A new wine, first release; very perfumed and sweet, hints of violets and lavender, fresh fruit, earth, acidity, clean and fresh; smooth and ripe in the mouth, but lacks crispness; sweet flavors are nicely blended with cherry flavors laced with lemon and a strong earthen tinge; the wine is good but comes up lacking and there are much more compelling pinots from California.
