Leathery and earthy, with hints of cranberries and chocolate. It’s medium bodied and supple enough to drink now, turning a bit tart on the finish.

It’s soft, with a bit of warmth and not much structure, but the superripe plum, chocolate and spice notes go down easy. A solid choice with burgers over the next few months.
