This is the first release of Lula Pinot from Jeff Hansen, the former winemaker at Amici Cellars. Named for his grandmother, Hansen sources the fruit from a five-acre vineyard planted to Pommard and two Dijon clones. Very aromatic, the wine is also dark and fairly full-bodied with a lot of cherry flavor and velvety texture.
