Sweet and rich nose with effusive lemon peel scents, minerals and herbs and a sweet base of aromas; sweet and smooth in the front of the mouth, then quickly becoming more citric in the middle of the mouth with lemon, lemon peel, and grapefruit flavors; still quite young and could use a bit more aging; nice fresh finish with defined citrus flavors, a bit obvious, although well made. Sweet and aromatic, the wine has a wonderful nose of fresh and clean aromas with an interesting mix of spices, aromas of pumpkin seeds and various spices, rich scents; smoky and herbal in the mouth, the wine presents a sweet and somewhat dense impression on the first taste, but then it moves on to a more focused set of flavors with fresh lemony flavors mixed in with an undercurrent of sweetness; long balanced finish with very good acidity; this wine was served as an entre act between red wine courses, which worked beautifully to refocus the palate.
