Intense, deep black color. Dominant toasty vanilla, sweet spice and clove against a backdrop of super ripe plummy, cherry fruit, leather and warm earth. Full-bodied, extracted, spicy but fresh with firm tannins. Lots of fruit flavor harmoniously balanced with attractive savory, gamy notes and warming alcohol.

Fairly deep youthful purple color. Enticing layered nose of bright raspberry, blackberry, wild strawberry and clove, cracked black pepper, black olive, garrigue and gamy notes. Very lively, fresh and persistent across the palate and packed with ripe dark fruit. Medium bodied, with firm tannins, smooth texture and lingering finish. Will hold 4-5 years.
