Opens with a whiff of balsamic vinegar, but then settles on warm, deep berry aromas. The fruit flavors are very ripe and a touch baked, with heavenly sweetness (assuming that’s your thing). The feel is mildly tannic and slightly jumbled, but by the time the rich coffee and molasses flavors take over on the finish, you should be on board this train. Drink now through 2011.
